My first appointment with Dr. Wunnava at the Pain Clinic was an impressive, wonderful experience in several ways. I met with his Staff first for a considerable time and afterwards with the Doctor for a total of one and a quarter hour. In which time I felt everyone was very attentive to my symptoms, pain, and discomfort and took down the medications I have been taking. They also recorded my allergies. We then discussed the negative side effects I experience from many over the counter and script analgesics. Additionally, the Doctor took considerable time to explain all of the medical methods, equipment, and skilled staff they had on location to address my specific complaints and chronic pain. He also recommended a book that he felt would be helpful for me to develop an understanding of my symptoms, condition, and upcoming treatment choices I may choose to implement. I appreciated very much the feeling of being part of the treatment team and not just another human that was there to receive treatment that day.
